Electricity theft: CESU announces reward for Informers

Bhubaneswar: The Central Electricity Supply Utility of Odisha (CESU) has appealed to citizens to inform the company about power theft. The informer will get a reward. CESU Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Arun Bothra after chairing a review meeting said that ten percent of the assessed amount will be given to the respected informer as reward. The identity of the informer will be kept secret, he assured. He also informed that woman self help group (SHG) members will be allowed to collect electricity bills soon. CESU has been distributing power in central Odisha including Cuttack, Puri, Dhenkanal, Angul, Khurda, Kendrapara, Nayagarh, Jagatsinghpur and part of Jaipur.
