Education Budget 2020 latest updates

New Delhi, Feb 1:  Education sector got Rs 99,300cr budgetary allocation. The Finance Minister presenting Budget 2020 said that degrees can be taken online soon and will be offered by the top 100 NIRF ranked institutions. Under Study in India programme, IND-SAT exam in Asian and African nations will be held to benchmark foreign candidates who receive scholarships to study in Indian higher educational centres. Govt proposes to start programme where urban local bodies across the county will give 1-year internship to young engineers. National Police University and National Forensic Science University proposed.
