Bhubaneswar, May 26: East Coast Railway (ECoR) General Manager Parmeshwar Funkwal felicitated four railway employees for their outstanding performance and alertness in ensuring the safety and efficiency of train operations.
Pujan Kumar, track maintainer at Titilagarh; Dinesh Kumar, track maintainer at Matagajpur; Jagadish Samal, loco pilot at Kendujhargarh and Boddani Srinivasa Rao, train manager at Visakhapatnam have demonstrated exceptional alertness and exercised presence of mind during their routine duties, taking swift and effective action that contributed to the safe and smooth operation of trains.
While presenting the awards, Funkwal lauded their commitment and hard work, particularly in the challenging and often demanding conditions under which railway personnel operate. He emphasized the crucial role played by frontline staff including track maintainers, loco pilots, technicians and station operators in maintaining the safety and reliability of railway services.
