East Coast Railway adds sleeper class coaches to Hirakhand express for year-End Holiday Season

Bhubaneswar, Dec 19: To enhance passenger comfort during the year-end holiday season, East Coast Railway has announced the augmentation of the Hirakhand Express with additional sleeper class coaches.
According to a railway release, Train No. 18447, the Bhubaneswar-Jagdalpur Hirakhand Express, will be equipped with one extra sleeper class coach from December 19, 2024, to December 31, 2024.
Likewise, Train No. 18448, the Jagdalpur-Bhubaneswar Hirakhand Express, will also receive an additional sleeper class coach from December 20, 2024, to January 1, 2025.
This step is being taken to accommodate the increased passenger demand during the festive season and to ensure a more comfortable travel experience. Passengers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly.
