Kathmandu, May 19: An earthquake of magnitude 5.8 Richter scale struck Nepal on Wednesday morning (local time) as per the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center.
The earthquake took place around 5: 42 am at Bhulbhule of Lamjung District. There is no immediate report of damage to property or loss of life, said reports.
The earthquake in Nepal also hit Bihar.
Earlier, 5.2 magnitude earthquake struck Kathmandu in Nepal on April 28.
