Jajpur, Dec 8: In a tragic incident, a drunken youth has allegedly killed his mother in Badachana police limits of Jajpur district. The youth has been arrested. The deceased has been identified as Susama Samal of Badachana village. According to the report, accused Ranjan Kumar Samal returned home in an inebriated state and asked his mother Susama for some money. As she denied it, they had a heated argument. Enraged over this, Ranjan hit a bamboo on her head. Subsequently, the family members rescued Susama and immediately rushed her to Badachana hospital where doctors declared her dead. Following this, the family members lodged a complaint in Badachana police station. Police have arrested the accused and started an investigation into the matter.
