Bhubaneswar, May 16: Odisha doctors have urged immediate vaccination of their family members. Odisha Medical Teachers' Association (OMTA) has submitted a memorandum with the health department in this regard. Similarly, Odisha PG Doctors’ Association has raised the same demand before the health authorities. According to OMTA Chair Person Dr Asish Kumar Barik and General Secretary Dr Kali Prasanna Biswal, doctors are serving Covid patients round the clock since last 18 months. In the busy schedule, they find no time to care their family members. Thus, it’s quite impossible to spare time registering their family members for Corona vaccination. On the other hand, their family members are more susceptible for Corona infection since the doctors are coming in contact with the Corona patients most frequently. They need urgent vaccination to keep themselves away from the virus infection.
