Doctor in Vigilance net taking bribe

Berhampur, Mar 31: Vigilance sleuths on Wednesday arrested a government doctor for taking bribe from a health worker. The doctor has been identified as Nishith Nishank Mallu, public health officer of Phiringia Community Health Centre in Kandhamal district. He was arrested red-handed while taking a bribe of Rs 7,000 from health worker Benupani Digal to pass RCM and TA. Raids are on at the doctor’s ancestral house and residence at Sundarpada in Bhubaneswar, said Berhampur Vigilance SP Santanu Padhi.
