Dilip Ray quit BJP, resigns as MLA

Bhubaneswar: Rourkela MLA Dilip Ray resigned from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and his MLA post as well this morning.
He went to Assembly Speaker Pradeep Kumar Amat and submitted a hand-written resignation letter to him. Similarly, he sent his resignation letter to the party president. He posted all thesa in his twitter account.
Ray had earlier told reporters that he woud quit BJP as the Centre has failed in keeping promises of constrcting a second bridge over the Brahmani river at Rourkela and and upgrading of the Ispat General Hospital (IGH) into a medical college.
