New Delhi, January 4: Dense fog and smoky weather disrupted flight operations at Delhi airport early Saturday, causing significant delays and diversions. 19 flights were diverted between 12:15 AM and 1:30 AM due to poor visibility, an airport official confirmed.
The weather conditions also led to delays for over 200 flights, marking the second consecutive day of disruptions. IndiGo, the country’s largest airline, temporarily halted arrivals and departures during the early morning hours to ensure passenger safety.
The dense fog continues to impact travel plans, with authorities closely monitoring the situation to minimize further inconvenience
