Delhi, Nov 12: Massive blast in the Red Forte in Delhi wreaked panic in the city as it killed at least 13 people leaving 20 critical.
However, the mission of the terrorists is suspected something big, that’s to wreak cataclysm and massacre in the Republic Day Ceremony (RDC) at the Red Fort.
It’s because, the prima facie evidence revealed that the alleged suicide attack was less intensional but more accidental. However, the blast suspects found recced the Red Fort planning a violent strike on the RDD at the historic icon, said investigation.
In a big revelation in the Delhi blast case, key suspect Muzammil has told the investigators that he and Umar recced the Red Fort in the first week of January. The investigating agency learnt that they were planning an attack on January 26.
At least 13 people were killed and more than 20 injured after a blast in a car near the Red Fort on Monday evening.
The blast took place in a Hyundai i20 car at 6.52 pm near the Red Fort Metro Station, leaving mangled bodies and damaged cars scattered on the busy street amid the hustle & bustle of the city.
