Bhubaneswar, Sep 7: A partially decomposed body of an unidentified youth was discovered on Sunday in a playground located in the Mancheswar area of Bhubaneswar.
According to sources, the body was found on a field situated in front of the East Coast Railway’s (ECoR) rail coach repair facility. Initial investigations suggest that the youth may have been brutally attacked, as multiple deep injuries were visible on the body, indicating a possible hacking.
The body was found on Sunday afternoon when a group of local youths were playing and promptly alerted the police.
A team from the local police station arrived at the scene shortly after receiving the report and began an investigation. Authorities are currently working to identify the deceased and confirm the exact cause of death.
