Cyclone Yaas: Odisha CM announces 7 days relief for all families of 128 marooned villages

Bhubaneswar, May 26: Chief Minister, Naveen Patnaik today announced 7 days relief for all families of 128 marooned villages of the cyclone affected districts. The CM during a review also directed 80 percent restoration of electricity supply in affected districts in next 24 hours. He also said that major roads will be restored in cyclone affected districts in next 24 hours. Patnaik congratulated all the Panchayat representatives, district administrations, community organisations and police for their excellent work in evacuation. The CM also thanked the doctors and health workers for continuous health service in the affected areas during the cyclone. He also thanked the fire services staff for their excellent work during and the ongoing post cyclone restoration activities.
