Bhubaneswar, October 25: In view of the possibility of a cyclone, the Khordha district administration has cancelled leave for all government officers and employees from October 26 to 31 to ensure preparedness and facilitate an effective response to any eventuality.

District Collector Amrit Ruturaj has directed all government officials and employees not to leave their respective headquarters without prior permission.

The administration has also revoked all previously approved leave and permissions to leave headquarters. Officials and employees concerned have been instructed to resume their duties immediately.

The decision has been taken as a precautionary measure to ensure the availability of personnel and strengthen the district’s preparedness to deal with any potential cyclone-related emergency.
