Cuttack, Oct 30: The street vendors of Chhatra Bazaar will finally have a modern vegetable market at the spot. Cuttack Municipal Corporation has prepared a new plan for the street vegetable vendors of Chhatra Bazaar to turn it into Smart Urban Haat. The facilities are proper entry and exit points, platforms for vendors, waste management system, parking place, drinking water and toilets for both vendors and customers. When asked Cuttack Municipal Commissioner Ananya Das said, “Traders have been allotted two-acre of land at the backside of Urban Cooperation Bank near Malgodown. We will make all necessary arrangements in place. The vegetable sellers can able to carry out their business on the ground.”
