Cuttack Police hands over recovered stolen items to owners

Cuttack, April 20: Cuttack Urban Police Districttoday organized “Recover Property Handover Programme” (an initiative towards citizen centric policing) in the office campus of DCP, Cuttack under strict Covid protocols. Altogether 69 mobiles, 18 motorcycles, two laptops, three LED TVs and one digital camera have been seized in last three months and the police decided to handover at a time to all the owner petitioners at one place. “The aim and objective of this programme is to develop to citizen bases policing. Around 100 owner petitioners were invited to the programme to handover their properties. They attended the programme and received the properties. This was our first phase of property handover programme and we will continue this programme in future at each quarter within the strict Covid norms and regulations,” said a police official.
