Cuttack: Fake detergent powder manufacturing company busted, 1 held

Cuttack, April 19: After fake cement, sauce, spices, and incense sticks, a fake detergent powder manufacturing unit has been busted in Tangi and Mahanga area of Cuttack on Tuesday and one person has been nabbed in this connection. The accused has been identified as Abhijit Behera. Based on reliable information regarding the fake manufacturing units, the Malgodown Police conducted raids and seized a huge quantity of spurious washing powders and stickers as well as packets of different known brands. Detergent packets weighing about 1,540 kgs and around 1,800 kgs of loose detergent powder were seized from the manufacturing units.
