Cuttack, Oct 9: While the Cuttack City is getting on track and peace is gradually prevailing with cooperation from communities following the recent unrest, the Urban Police District (UPD), Cuttack has yet kept a vigilant eye on rumors and provocation.
The DCP, UPD Cuttack issued two essential helpline numbers for the denizens on Thursday to keep track of misinformation and provoking rumours flared up by miscreants.
Meanwhile, citizens are advised not to trust or circulate unverified or false information on social media platform.
With dedicating two helpline numbers, the DCP appealed denizens of Cuttack to report all suspicious messages or rumours to 7328077324 and 8480513007 mobile numbers, regarding the previous unrest that hampered social bondage and harmony in the heritage city.
“A mere step of yours will play a major role in restoring peace and harmony in society. Thus, let’s not believe on rumours and won’t act on it.” Cuttack DCP said in a post on X.
