CRPF bomb squad neutralises 40 kg IED in Jharkhand

Malkangiri, Feb 12: A bomb disposal team of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on Thursday neutralised a 40 kg Improvised Explosive Device (IED) on Chaibasa-Goilkera road in Singhbhum district in Jharkhand neighbouring to Odisha border. The CRPF team was conducting a combing operation on the newly constructed road when the explosive was detected by metal detector. The jawans indentified it as IED weighing around 40 kg and neutralised.
