Covid scare at VIMSAR-Burla: Hostels declared containment zone, buffer zone

Sambalpur, Nov 25: The authorities of Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR), Burla in Sambalpur district on Thursday decided to declare five hostel micro containment zones after 51 students tested positive for Covid-19. Entry and exit to the hostel Sabitri, Gargi, Charak, Bhrugu, and Patanjali have been restricted and are declared as micro-containment zone while offline classes and practical classes have been suspended. The staff quarters of Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR), Apala Girls Hostel, Atreya Hostel, Biswamitra Hostel, and Markandeya Hostel and all the staff quarters under Ward No- 6 have been declared buffer zone.
