Covid-19 scare: Harekrushna Mahtab State Library to be closed till Nov 6

Bhubaneswar, Oct 31: The Harekrushna Mahtab State Library will be closed until November 6 after two of the employees have tested positive for Covid-19. The Odia Language Literature & Culture Department informed that the library will remain closed for the safety of readers and staff. The premises of the institution will be sanitised and disinfected. Odisha has reported 488 new Covid-19 positive cases including 77 minors, in the last 24 hours. Out of the total positive cases, 285 cases were from the quarantine centres, while 203 cases were local contacts. Khordha district reported the highest number of cases (250), while Nuapada, Koraput, Keonjhar, and Angul reported the lowest number of cases, with one case each, in the last 24 hours.
