Covid-19 resurgence: Section 144 imposed at Dungurupalli block of Subarnapur

Section 144 clamped in Bhadrak's Bant

Sonepur, Apr 24: Amid the resurgence of Covid-19 cases in the state, the district administration of Subarnapur has imposed section 144 at Dungurupali block from Sunday to curb down the rising cases in the block.

More than five persons will not be allowed to congregate at any place at any point of time during this period.

The following are exempted from the restrictions:

  1. District Administration/ Police/ Govt. official on duty.
  2. Doctors, Medical/ Paramedical Staff (Govt. & Private) All Emergency Services & utilities such as Electricity, Telecom, Water Supply and Sanitation and Sewerage Services and movement of vehicles and staff.
  3. Staff of IT &ITeS Companies on production their ID cards
  4. Any person, in case of medical or other emergency.
  5. Owner/ staff of chemist shops
  6. All industrial units
  7. All construction activities
  8. All medical establishments including hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, including medicine stores, movement of Ambulance and all medical personnel.
  9. Central & State Government officials on emergency duty
  10. Telecom services LPG distribution, home delivery of cooking gas and associated facilities, associated personnel, and vehicular movement
  11. Print and Electronic Media identified by District Police
  12. Water Supply, sanitation and sewerage workers
  13. Electricity supply and distribution
  14. Movement of goods and goods carriers, whether loaded or unloaded Industrial establishments, factories and construction activities
  15. Agriculture, Horticulture, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary services and allied activities, including procurement at Mandis .
  16. Service sector industries, including IT/TeS, Hotel & Hospitality units.
  17. Operation of hotels and hospitality units, including their associated offices, movement of staff and associated personnel.
  18. Movement of rail and air transport
  19. Road transport on highways, road movement of transiting vehicles
  20. Marriage and Funerals, with permission of local authority
  21. ATMs and critical financial institutions like RBI, clearing Houses  
  22. Operations of Airports, Railway Stations, Bus terminals and their associated offices, movement of associated personnel and activities action da
  23. Milk booths and related activities Fun Food & Grocery stores such as Reliance Fresh, Big Bazaar, Chilika Fresh and others for Home delivery only

However, no pass would be required for movement of above category of persons. Valid Travel documents/ authorizations such as airline/ railway/ bus tickets/ boarding passes, with any identity proof shall be adequate for the purpose, said a release.
