Chandikhole, Feb, 10: A couple was killed in a road accident after their scooter got hit by a truck near Chadheidhara Chakk at NH 53 in Jajpur district today.

The deceased have been identified as Golakh Chandra Sahu and his wife Kanak Lata Sahu, both residents of Mahisura.

As per reports, the couple was returning from Duburi to Dankari when their vehicle was hit by a truck from rear following which they died on the spot. On being informed, the Jenapur police have reached the spot and sent the bodies for post-mortem.
