Couple arrested for killing woman in Ganjam

Kavisuryanagar, Feb 18: The Kavisuryanagar police arrested a couple today for killing a woman whose body was recovered from a cashew orchard at Arjunapali village in Ganjam district. The deceased has been identified as Lili Nayak, a resident of Ramachandrapur of Nuagaon area. Addressing a presser, the IIC of Kavisuryanagar police station, Pravat Kumar Sahu, informed that the couple killed the woman over a monetary dispute on February 10 and dumped her body at a cashew orchard in Arjunapalli village. After investigation, the police arrested the couple and forwarded them to court.
