Bhubaneswar, Jan 19: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today reviewed infrastructure development of proposed health care facilities in the state and ordered to expedite projects works to complete within the stipulated time.
Patnaik reviewed progress of infrastructure development of SCB Medical College & Hospital in Cuttack, proposed to transform it into a world class health care institution.
He reviewed infrastructural development of nine new medical colleges established by the state government and renovation of five new district headquarters hospitals along with development of six district headquarters hospital.
The review meeting also discussed construction of Cardiac Care hospital at Jharsuguda, Multi Utility Complex for Post Graduate Students at Sishu Bhawan in Cuttack, LINAC Block at Acharya Harihar Cancer Hospital, development of Capital Hospital into Post Graduate Institute (PGI) and Bargarh Cancer Hospital.
The Chief Minister stressed on completion of these projects within the stipulated time through better coordination between concerned departments.
