Commissionerate Police seizes 2315 vehicles in the Twin City for violation of Covid-19 regulations

Bhubaneswar, April 6: Intensifying its crackdown against people roaming in the twin citiers of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar without any emergency during the lockdown, the Commissionerate police today seized as many as 2315 vehicles. While as many1039 vehicles were seized in Bhubaneswar, another 1276 vehicles were seized in Cuttack for violation of lockdown regulations. Police said that despite warning people not to use vehicles for buying essential commodities including vegetables and groceries, residents of the twin city have been violating the regulations. “Any vehicle reaching any market with or without vehicle pass will be seized. The crackdown will be intensified from Tuesday,” said a police official.
