Commissionerate police declares cash award over woman’s skeleton

Bhubaneswar, April 7: Finding no response after publishing sketch, Commissionerate police declared cash award over detailed information on the skeleton of a woman recovered from Janla outpost inside a car. Deputy Commissioner of Police Umashankar Dash said a cash award would be given to the informant who would provide identity of the deceased woman.However, Dash did not mention the exact amount of cash award. Jatani police had recovered a decomposed woman’s skeleton from a seized SUV car kept inside the campus of Janla outpost a few days ago. In order to trace out the woman’s identity, police released the sketch prepared by the Forensic Laboratory in March. Posters containing the woman’s sketch had been pasted around Bhubaneswar and Jatani area. Apart from it, the same posters had been shared with West Bengal, Bihar, Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh police to source information. But, the Commissionerate Police got no response regarding it so far.
