Cold wave to continue in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Jan 28: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted that the temperature in Odisha will start dropping and the mercury will plunge to below 11 degrees Celsius at some places from today. The gradual fall in minimum temperature will persist for a few days. As per the regional center of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Daringbadi recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 6.5 degrees Celsius, followed by Phulabani & Koenjhar at 8°C, Jharsuguda, Sonepur, Boudh & Bhawanipatna at 9°C, Angul at 9.6°C, Koraput & Nayagah at 10°C. The twin cities Bhubaneswar and Cuttack recorded a minimum temperature of 12.1 and 13 degree Celsius respectively.
