Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will visit Jeypore in Koraput district and Umarkote in Nawarangpur district today. Patnaik will lay foundation-stone for some projects and inaugurate a slew of completed projects in the two districts.
According to reports, the Chief Minister inaugurate 31 welfare projects worth Rs 1136.41 crore and lay stone for 94 projects worth Rs 749 crore at Jeypore.
Similarly, Patnaik will lay foundation-stone for 16 new projects worth Rs 1097 crore and inaugurate new projects worth Rs 19 crore at Umarkote.
Patnaik wolul address a massive youth convention of the Biju Yuva Vahini at Jeypore. Thousands of BYV volunteers from Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur and Rayagada will attend the convention.
The Chief Minister will distribute assistances and land patta to beneficiaries under different schemes, said reports.
