CM to attend BYV Samabesh, open slew of projects in Cuttack today

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik would visit the millennium city Cuttack to inaugurate and lay foundation-stone for a slew of projects, together worth about Rs 800 crore, this afternoon. According to the schedule, the Chief Minister would attend a Biju Yuva Vahini Samabesh at the historic Baliyatra ground at 5 pm for the purpose. He is scheduled to inaugurate 35 projects worth Rs 270 crore and lay foundation stone for 22 projects of Rs 526 crore. The projects to be inaugurated today include Biju Setus on Sanachancho-Badachancho road, pipe-water supply at Choudwar, UCHC at Chauliaganj, 300-bed girls’ hostel for the Ravenshaw junior college and water treatment plant at the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack. Similarly, the projects, for which foundation-stone to be laid by the CM, include Nayabazar-Madhupatna over-bridge, bridge over the Gobari river on Mahanga-Bagasarapur road, a 20,00-litre capacity Omfed plant at Kendupatna, four high-level bridges under Niali and Kandpara blocks, two road project under Cuttack Sadar and Nischintakoili blocks and 400-bed hostel at the Shailabala Women’s College in Cuttack.
