Puri, Jan 5: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has inaugurated an Industrial Training Institute(ITI) at Krushna Prasad Block in Puri district on Wednesday. While gracing the occasion, Naveen said that the new ITI will create a new era in the field of employment. Odisha is going to be an industrial hub in India in the recent future since a number of projects worth a million crores are coming up. This will widen the prospects for grooming youths of the state. Lauding the glory of Odisha ITIs, Naveen said that as many as 10 ITIs of the state have been placed in the top ten ranking out of the 12000 industrial training centers across the nation. Vice-Chairman of State Planning Board, Sanjay Kumar Das Burma said, the newly opened ITI in Krushna Prasad will create new opportunities for the local youths. During the occasion 5T Secretary, VK Pandyan asked the IIT authorities to develop the new campus as a green campus.
