CM directs to keep Covid hospitals in readiness within 10 days

Bhubaneswar, Jan 04: With the Covid-19 cases rising in the state, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday directed the concerned authorities to keep in readiness all government and non-government Covid hospitals within 10 days. Taking a review meeting on Covid situation, the Chief Minister sought preparedness for patient care on a par with what was done during the second wave. He directed to keep maximum beds and ICUs in readiness which was required at the peak of the second wave. He advised the officials to work in campaign mode to meet the vaccination target. The Chief Minister directed that restrictions for growing Covid cases should not affect the livelihood of people.
