Bhubaneswar, Nov 11: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today dedicated 142 transformed high schools of five districts to the people of Odisha.
The schools have been transformed with modern state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities under the 5T Initiatives High School Transformation Program.
Among the 142 schools inaugurated today, 67 are in Sundargarh, 30 in Cuttack, 23 in Balasore, 10 in Kandhamal and 12 in Nabarangpur. The Chief Minister attended the inauguration program virtually and he also interacted with the students and parents of the transformed schools.
“The school transformation program has bridged the gap between schools in urban and rural areas. Another important thing is that the state government has reserved 15 per cent of the seats for you so that the dream of becoming a doctor and engineering can be fulfilled,” the CM told students.
