CM condemns terrorist attack in J&K

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday condoled the martyrdom of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans after an IED blast by terrorists struck a bus in Goripora area of Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district today. Nearly 20 CRPF jawans were martyred. The Jaish-e-Mohammed has claimed responsibility for the attack. The casualties are likely to go up. “Deeply saddened by the martyrdom of so many #Crpf #jawans in terrorist attack in #Pulwama district of #JammuAndKashmir. Strongly condemn the cowardly act and condolences to the bereaved families,” Patnaik tweeted. According to sources, two buses of the CRPF convoy were targeted. The bus was blown up by an IED explosion on Srinagar-Jammu highway in Awantipora area of the district, the sources added.
