CM approves financial assistance worth Rs 50L for Sambalpur Sitala Sasthi Yatra

Bhubaneswar, May 29: While Western Odisha gears up to celebrate Sitala Sasthi festivity with a cultural fervor, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has yet added quanta of joys to the occasion.

The CM has approved Rs 50 lakh for this year Sitala Sasthi which is scheduled to be held a few days ahead.

The financial assistance to be released from the CM’s captive funds, aims to make the Sital Sasthi Yatra more elaborate and to boost its promotion and outreach, said a post of CM on X.
