New Delhi, October 6: Chief Justice of India Surya Kant on Tuesday administered the oath of office to three newly elevated judges of the Supreme Court, taking the court’s working strength to 37 against the sanctioned strength of 38.
Justices Sunita Agarwal, Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya and Aparesh Kumar Singh took the oath at a ceremony held in the auditorium of the new Supreme Court block.
The ceremony was attended by all Supreme Court judges, judicial officers and officials from various high courts.
