Child pornography row: CBI conducts raid in Bhadrak,quizzes rickshaw puller

Bhadrak, Nov 16: Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has conducted a raid in Odisha’s Bhadrak district in connection with child pornography sites on Tuesday. A five member team of the CBI has raided in Manoranjan Das’s house at Binayakpur village under Agarpada police limit. Sources said the CBI team from New Delhi visited Bhadrak to investigate a child abuse and child pornography case. Meanwhile, they conducted a raid at Manoranjan Das’s house, a rickshaw driver, who was residing out of Odisha earlier. The team,led by Inspector, PK Mishra subsequently seized the mobile of Manoranjan and quizzed him over the matter. Worth mentioning, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is conducting searches at around 76 locations across 14 states including Odisha and union territories in the country to crackdown against sexual abuse and child pornography.
