Bhubaneswar, June 12: OAS officer Bhimasen Tudu was arrested on Friday in connection with medical student Chandrika Hembram death case.

Bhimasen, who was on the run for almost a week, was arrested by the Commissionerate Police this evening while he was hiding in Mayurbhanj.

Chandrika Hembram’s body was found near the Trisulia overbridge in Cuttack on the 4th of this month.

Following this, the deceased girl’s family had lodged a complaint with police alleging the involvement of her OAS boyfriend who reportedly harassed her mentally with betrayal, despite a love affair.
