Bhubaneswar, Feb 11: Ministry of Road Transport & N.H has approved three Highways along Odisha to be six laned.
The ministry has approved a bulk grant of Rs 477.76 crore for Raipur-Visakhapatnam economic corridor. This fund will be utilised to make the Dhanra-Hatibena section of the corridor six laned.
Similarly, Hatibeni-Badakumari section will be renovated at a cost of Rs 791.17 crore.
Apart from it, the centre has allocated Rs 498.51 crore to rebuild the section of Karki-Kaliaguda section of the corridor to six lanes. The National Highways Authority will execute the project soon said, Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Nitin Gadkari.
