Centenarian defeats Corona in Odisha

Balasore, May 10: A centenarian man has defeated Corona in Balasore. The stalwart has been identified as Dayanidhi Panda who is a native of Biruan village under Remuna block in Balasore district. Sources said, 107 year old Dayanidhi was admitted to the district headquarters hospital, Balasore on Wednesday after he tested Corona positive. Meanwhile, his situation became critical late at night. As a result he was put in the intensive care unit (ICU) of the Covid hospital. However, his condition gradually  improved on Friday. On Saturday, treating doctor examined him and he had recovered from the disease. Following which, Panda was discharged from the Covid hospital on Saturday. He is doing well and seems to be normal. He has not complained of any uneasiness so far, said his family member.
