Cuttack, Dec 18: The State Transport Authority (STA) has decided to revamp the process of getting Learner Licence (LL) with installation of CCTVs at test centres of all 38 RTOs across the state. The video footage will be monitored at STA to make the test process transparent. “Even the LL test centre of RTO Cuttack will be on public domain on a pilot basis and anyone can see the LL test centre and observe the test process. The viewing link of RTO Cuttack LL centre will be available in STA website,” said an official. Besides in a bid to improve the quality of the examination, the number of questions the candidate has to answer has been increased to 20 from earlier 10 questions. “As the candidates are facing difficulty in handling the mouse while appearing the computerised LL test, the existing computers will be replaced by touch screen screen computers in all the RTOs by March 2021,” added the official.
