Mumbai, Nov 21: The much-anticipated third season of Manoj Bajpayee’s hit web series ‘The Family Man’ premiered on Prime Video on November 21. Bajpayee returns as intelligence officer Srikant Tiwari, a role that has earned him widespread acclaim. This season also sees actor Jaideep Ahlawat joining the cast in a key role.

Season 3 consists of seven episodes, and soon after its release, viewers took to X to share their reactions. The new season has drawn mixed reviews—while some fans praised it as more entertaining than the previous installments, others expressed disappointment. One user wrote that the series “could have been more engaging,” while another criticized creators Raj & DK, saying, “What have you done to the final season? You’ve blended in elements from Special Ops and Pathaan. I’m disappointed.”

The Family Man 3 picks up from the events of Season 2. Set against the tense backdrop of India’s Northeast—where frequent bomb blasts and rising instability pose serious challenges—and with China reportedly escalating tensions, the storyline follows the Prime Minister’s efforts to restore peace. Task Force chief Kulkarni entrusts Srikant Tiwari with a crucial mission in Nagaland, where he crosses paths with contract killer and drug lord Rukma.
