Kolkata, August 15: In a tragic incident, at least 10 pilgrims from Bihar died and scores of people became critical as a bus hit a roadside truck in West Bengal on Friday.
The incident took place in West Bengal's Burdwan town in the afternoon.
According to report, a group of pilgrims from the Motihari area in Bihar's East Champaran district, were returning home after visiting Gangasagar. Meanwhile the mishap took place on NH-19 near Phaguipur.
Among the deceased there are eight men and two women.
On being informed, the injured ones were rescued from the spot and rushed to the Burdwan Medical College and Hospital for resuscitation.
