New Delhi, August 11: The report of the inquiry committee that investigated allegations against Justice Yashwant Varma, following the alleged recovery of unaccounted cash from his official residence, will be tabled in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday.
According to the Lok Sabha’s list of business for August 12, the Secretary General will lay before the House the two-volume inquiry report along with the oral evidence recorded during the proceedings.
The inquiry panel had submitted its findings to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla in May.
The report is part of the proceedings initiated against Justice Varma over the alleged discovery of cash at his official residence, which subsequently led to removal proceedings.
