Bhubaneswar, Dec 30: Director General of Border Security Force(BSF), Pankaj Kumar Singh along with ADG R.S. Bhatti visited Odisha on Wednesday. They visited Mao-infested Koraput and Malkangiri districts to review Left Wing Extremist(LWE) related issues. They moved to the affected areas and also visited the camps at Janbai and Gurasetu. On Thursday they came back to Bhubaneswar and called on the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. Subsequently, DGP, Odisha,Abhay along with senior officials held a meeting with the DG, BSF and other senior officials of BSF. Future operational strategy and other details were discussed on the occasion. During the discussion, DG, BSF expressed his commitment to helping Odisha Police in getting rid of the menace of the LWE ultras. On the other hand, DGP Abhay appreciated the good work done by the BSF in Odisha over the last decade. He said that Odisha Police and BSF will keep working in tandem and ensure the safety and security of everyone.
