Cuttack: Board of Secondary Education president Jahan Ara Begum today said that the Matric Odia question papers were not leaked but became viral after the commencement of the examination.
She said a probe will be initiated into the matter.
She appealed to students to continue their studies as viral matter has no bearing on students.
“I appeal to all the students to continue their studies in the same zeal. The viral of question paper has no impact on them,” said Begum.
The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) conducts the examination.
An hour after the commencement of the annual High School Certificate examination, question papers of Odia reportedly surfaced on social media in Nuapada district and Kamakhyanagar of Dhenkanal district.
The HSC examination started today with as many as 5, 87, 720 students appearing for the First language (MILO) in 2,953 centres across the State.
