Cuttack: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) today announced to conduct the Odisha Teachers’ Eligibility Test (OTET) online after March 8.
The OTET examinations earlier scheduled on January 16 were cancelled following allegations of question paper leak on social media. As many as 1.12 lakh candidates applied to sit in the examination across Odisha.
To avoid any further embarrassment, the BSE authorities have decided to conduct the OTET examination online. The examination which was scheduled to be held in two sittings on January 16, were cancelled after question papers started making rounds on social media about a couple of hours before the examinations started.
The examination will be held after completion of the annual High School Certificate or Matric examination.
