Boyfriend climbs marriage altar, fills vermilion on bride’s forehead in Gorakhpur

Gorakhpur, Dec 2: A surprising incident, a youth climbed the marriage altar and filled vermilion on bride’s forehead with her consent. The family members and guests were stunned seeing the view. The incident took place on Wednesday night in a village under Harpur Budhat police limits in Gorakhpur area of Uttar Pradesh. It is reported that the young man was in love with the bride before and wanted to marry her. And the bride instated to live with her boyfriend. The girl’s family informed the police about the matter following which the frustrated lover fled from the spot. Later, the matter was resolved by the elderly people and the bride and groom were sent off on Thursday morning.
