Mumbai, Sept 29: The box office is witnessing an interesting battle among several films, with movies competing closely for audience attention and earnings. Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia’s The The Vvaan has moved ahead of Paradise in Monday’s domestic collection, while Hanuman Ansh has crossed the Rs 400 crore mark worldwide. Meanwhile, the earnings of Mirzapur: The Movie and Avengers: Endgame Encore continues to fluctuate. Here’s a look at the latest box office performance of these films.
The Vvaan
Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia’s The Vvaan has received a mixed response from critics and audiences. The film earned Rs 5.25 crore on Monday, taking its total domestic collection to Rs 38.85 crore. Its worldwide gross collection currently stands at Rs 50.35 crore.
Paradise
South star Nani’s The Paradise has completed five days at the box office. The film earned Rs 5 crore on Monday, recording a decline compared to its Sunday collection. So far, The Paradise has collected Rs 97.10 crore domestically, while its worldwide earnings have reached Rs 144.85 crore.
Hanuman Ansh
Based on the life of Neem Karoli Baba, Hanuman Ansh has completed 55 days in theatres. Made on a reported budget of just Rs 2 crore, the film has earned Rs 309.38 crore at the domestic box office. It added another Rs 2.35 crore on Monday. Its worldwide collection has now crossed the Rs 400 crore mark, reaching Rs 404.25 crore.
Avengers: Endgame Encore
Marvel’s blockbuster Avengers: Endgame has returned to theatres after seven years under the new title Avengers: Endgame Encore. On its fourth day, the film earned Rs 2.80 crore, taking its total domestic collection to Rs 24.80 crore.
The film opened with Rs 8.68 crore on Day 1, followed by Rs 9.15 crore on Day 2 and Rs 9.02 crore on Day 3.
Mirzapur: The Movie
Released on September 4, Mirzapur: The Movie has completed 25 days at the box office. The film earned only Rs 60 lakh on Monday, taking its total business to Rs 227.65 crore.
