Puri, Dec 7: Puri Sea-Beach police has seized a newborn boy’s body from a bag at Puri sea beach on Tuesday.

The incident came to the fore when some local businessmen informed police after discovering the body in a plastic bag at Chakratirtha road near the sea-beach.

Sources said the locals informed police while a man was going to dispose of a newborn baby’s body under the sand. in the sea beach. Following this, the man fled from the spot leaving the body at the spot.

Meanwhile, police seized the body and undertook an investigation in this connection. However, police have not found any clue regarding the deceased baby so far.
